First Midwest Customer Service Review

All the reviews given here are given by the customers of First Midwest Bank.

* Worst bank ever, nothing but problems. Today they overdraft me $36 for no reason. Deposited $1000.00 yesterday and have more than enough money in my account. They said it would cost $25 to close my account as well.

* Do not use this bank for money management!! We trust them. They should have shut it down 10 years ago and didn’t. We found a mistake in the count which took 3 months to rectify. After the completion of the paperwork, we have to involve the lawyer in getting the land out of the bank. It took a month to get the land. It’s been 2 months and we still haven’t been able to withdraw the money.

* My wife and I applied for a personal loan. We both have great credit 702 and 764 scores + high incomes. Midwest pulled my TransUnion report twice and now has to dispute the second pull. We were also denied a loan, saying my wife’s score of 702 was not up to their required standards. pathetic bank

* I read reviews about this bank after talking to a mortgage lender. They have incredible rates and a jumbo product well below normal traditional rates. Loan closing was a normal process of 30-45 days. Was happy with their service and closed in the time they mentioned. In fact, the other lenders we talked to had rates of .250% higher. Glad to be in touch with them.
